Hi! I'm Hannah Harkin, a fifth-year University student at the University of Toronto. I study Medical Sciences and plan to pursue a career in the medical field. I enjoy playing lots of sports and spending time outdoors! I also play Varsity Soccer for U of T and work part-time a Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics clinic .
I love working with kids and have been working with them for many years through soccer coaching, babysitting, refereeing, classroom supervising and swimming lessons of course.

I have been teaching swimming lessons since 2019 and have worked with the Town of Whitby for 3 years as an Instructor and Lifeguard.
I am WSI, LSI, NLS, CPR C, AED and Standard First Aid certified through the Red Cross. I have taught all Red Cross Levels, including parented classes and adult lessons.
I have co swimmers of all levels and abilities. I’ve trained athletes preparing for triathlons, guided candidates through lifesaving certifications including Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion, and Bronze Cross, and supported individuals with a range of physical and cognitive disabilities.
I strive to make swimming lessons the best experience possible by implementing fun into the activities. My goal is to have kids and adults leave lessons with competence, confidence and water safety skills. Parents and guardians will also see their children learn important skills of focus, discipline and determination.
